Review Process

We use a thorough review process for applicants because we are committed to finding top talent for our organization. Our expert recruiters review applicants for posted positions. Selected candidates are contacted for screening and possible interview. We communicate with all applicants via email and phone. You can check the status of your application online 24/7 on the Employment Opportunities page.

Interview Process

When bringing new talent to Centegra, we embrace a collaborative decision-making process. We conduct a series of interviews that include recruiters, hiring leaders and peer teams. Candidates should be prepared to provide examples from their experience to highlight their knowledge, skills, abilities and work ethic.

Hiring and Offer Process

Once a team decision has been made, a recruiter will contact the chosen candidate and extend an offer of employment. At acceptance, we schedule all pre-employment appointments. We complete all required background checks and drug testing. More details are provided in the interview packet.

Orientation, Training and On-Boarding Process

All new Centegra Associates complete our Five Star Welcome Orientation, designed to familiarize them with our system and culture. Training is department-specific and all new Associates receive information about their departmental training from their leader. Our on-boarding process serves to engage new Associates by immersing them in Centegra culture.

What is the best way to apply for a position with Centegra Health System?

Applying directly to a position posted on the Career Opportunities page is the best way to apply.

How often are job postings updated?

Centegra Health System updates job postings in real time. Check the Job Posting Notification option in your online application to be notified of any new positions matching your application information.

If I don’t have a resume can I still apply for a position?

Yes. You can complete an online application listing your skills and job experience. It is important to be thorough and accurate when entering this information because the employment team identifies your job fit based on the knowledge, skills, abilities and talents in your online application.

There are no current job opportunities matching my skills or interests. Can I be considered for a future position?

When you fill out the online application, your information is stored in our database. If you have selected the Job Posting Notification option, you will be notified via email of any new career opportunities available matching your profile preferences. We strongly encourage you to be proactive in your job search by continuing to check the Centegra Health System website for new opportunities.

I forgot my password and/or username. What should I do?

On the Career Opportunities log in page, select “Returning Candidates,” then the “forgot your password” or “forgot your username” option. You will receive an email with instruction on resetting your password and/or username.

My account is locked, what should I do?

You are allowed five (5) incorrect sign-in attempts before your account will be locked. Your account will be locked for only five minutes. After five minutes has passed, use the “forgot your password” option. An email containing a generic password and prompts to create a new password for accessing your account will be sent.

What should I do if I receive an application error during submission?

Simply exiting the application and opening a new session can resolve many issues.

I received an error when attaching my resume. What should I do?

Review the size and type of document you are trying to attach. The application states all acceptable formats. The size limitation is 100 kilobytes.

When will I hear from someone after I apply?

Immediately after you apply, you will receive our “application acknowledgement” email and our employment team places your application for review. Centegra Health System is dedicated to finding individuals aligned with our values of genuine respect, passionate caring and a joyful spirit. Our employment team takes time to review all of our applications. You can check the status of your application online 24/7.

I did not receive an email acknowledging my application.

All email correspondence will be sent to the email address entered in your online application. Please review to ensure a valid email address is entered. The email generates from our system and could be filtered as “junk” mail. Review your junk mailbox if you have not received correspondence in your inbox.

How can I check the status of my application?

You can view the status of your application 24/7 simply by logging into your online application and viewing your “job submissions.” A representative from our employment team will contact you directly either by telephone or email if you are selected for an interview.

Can I delete my application?

Online applications are considered legal documents and cannot be deleted; however, you can withdraw an application.

How do I withdraw my application from a position?

Log in to your online application and select “view job submissions.” Then select “withdraw.”

What is registry status?

Registry status is listed at 0 hours. Scheduling varies by department and there are no benefits or guarantee of hours for this status.

Any position with 20 hours per week or more is considered benefits eligible.
