Phase I of pre-construction for Centegra Hospital–Huntley will begin Feb. 18, 2014 as we prepare for groundbreaking this spring. Please be mindful of the following modifications to the campus:

Phase I involved two major changes that began February 18:

  • We will permanently close the patient parking lot on the southeast side of Centegra Health Center–Huntley. Patients will be encouraged to park in the lot directly in front of the Immediate Care Center. Patients may also access a designated drop-off location for passengers.
  • During this time crews will prepare the patient lot in front of the Immediate Care Center for new traffic flow. The result will be a one-way, counter-clockwise drive around the perimeter of the lot leading to a drop-off zone in front of the health center and immediate care.

Signage will be posted on campus.

Phase II involved two major changes that began March 10:

  • The main entrance into the campus will be reconfigured. Visitors and Associates will be required to take the first right to access Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center and Centegra Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Clinic or an immediate left to access the Centegra Health Center and Immediate Care.
  • Permanent closing of the east parking lot, where the blue awning is located. As available parking for patients will be reduced in this phase, Associates will be required to park on the south side of the main drive. A new walk way will be opened, allowing Associates to safely cross from the main drive to the health center and immediate care facility.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support that has helped Centegra Hospital-Huntley become only the second new hospital to be approved in the state of Illinois in the last 30 years. It is anticipated that Centegra Hospital-Huntley will treat its first patients in 2016.
