Centegra Health System encourages women to take care of their health by introducing an add-a-pearl for health and wellness program. Beginning in March, women who participate in select health and wellness programs will be rewarded with a genuine cultured freshwater pearl from Dalzell Jewelers and Centegra Health System to begin building a keepsake necklace.
”Women often overlook taking care of their own health and wellness when they are so busy taking care of others,” said Susan Milford, Centegra Health System’s Vice President of Marketing, Planning and Wellness. “The add-a-pearl program is a way to empower and encourage women to make their health a priority.” The program, introduced to the attendees at Centegra’s Health Strong Woman Event on Feb. 24, will officially kick-off on March 1. Women who register for services such as their annual physical, annual mammogram screening, bone density exam and even select classes and services at Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center will receive a pearl.
At the conclusion of the appointment or class, women will receive the pearl in a drawstring bag with instructions on how to get their pearl strung on a micro-cord necklace for $5 at Dalzell Jewelers in Crystal Lake.”Women are the caregivers of their families, the foundation of our region’s businesses and the role models for children in our community. We encourage women to put their own healthcare first and to enjoy the rewards of this exciting promotion,” said Jenny Dalzell, vice president of Dalzell Jewelers.
