As the medical director of the Centegra Back and Spine Center, Dr. Sandhya Meesala leads a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and experts who join forces to provide their patients the best care available.
Meesala said the team approach to patient care is what attracted her to the medical staff at Centegra Health System.”Patients benefit when they receive the well-rounded care that is only available with a team of specialists,” Meesala said. “I am always excited to collaborate with others who are getting our patients well and keeping them well.” As a board-certified physician who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Meesala’s extensive background includes a residency at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland Ohio. She also received additional training at Cleveland Clinic Center for Children’s Rehabilitation, Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, at Spasticity Clinics with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Akron General Hospital and with the Chronic Pain Management Program with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.Meesala said her goal is to help patients recover from back and spine pain by getting them the appropriate treatment in the most timely manner.
