The Centegra Weight-Loss Institute has extended OPTIFAST, a medically supervised weight-loss program, to include OPTITRIM. The partial meal replacement plan creates a low-calorie diet and is targeted for individuals who are interested in losing 10 to 30 pounds.
“OPTITRIM is ideal for those who have struggled with weight loss in the past and have tried diet and exercise on their own with limited results,” said Tanya Tanzillo, certified nurse practitioner and OPTIFAST manager at Centegra Health System.
OPTITRIM provides three affordable program versions. Those versions include an eight-week basic program, a 12-week plus program and a 16-week platinum program. Each of the three programs provides clients with a meal plan, regular one-on-one sessions with a registered dietitian and a resting metabolic rate test. Throughout the program clients learn to read food labels and shop wisely.
The Centegra Weight-Loss Institute uses medically based programs to help individuals reach their weight-loss goals. The OPTITRIM program supports individuals to create a healthier lifestyle.
