Cjay Harmer, a prevention specialist from the Pioneer Center for Human Services, will discuss bullying, why some kids get targeted and how to help both the victim and bully. A question and answer session will follow. Harmer will present from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10 at Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center-Huntley, 10450 Algonquin Road.
Dr. Stephen Kozlowski, a board-certified rheumatologist with Centegra Physician Care, will share ways to combat stiff and painful joints. He will suggest lifestyle improvements, physical therapy options, home exercise tips and when it’s time to see a doctor. Kozlowski’s free lecture will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17 at Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center-Crystal Lake, 200 E. Congress Parkway.
People who want to learn more about how insomnia can affect their quality of life should attend Joy Prepejchal’s presentation from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24 at Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center-Huntley.
