Centegra Health System welcomes several new members to its Board of Governors: Laurence Gott, MD; Paul Hills; Patrick Morehead; Parmod Narang, MD; Katherine Powell; and Charie Zanck. Each individual has been nominated to serve a three-year term on the board and will begin their term at the Centegra Annual Meeting on February 24 at Boulder Ridge County Club in Lake In The Hills.
Laurence Gott, MD is being nominated to serve his first three-year term on the Board of Governors. Dr. Gott is a Urologic Surgeon with offices located in Barrington and Crystal Lake. He is an Active Staff member at Centegra Northern Illinois Medical Center and Centegra Memorial Medical Center. He is past-president of the Chicago Urological Society and currently on the Executive Board of Chicago Urological Society. He has served on Centegra’s Planning Committee since August 2001. Dr. Gott resides in Barrington.
Paul Hills is being nominated to serve his first three-year term on the Board of Governors. Mr. Hills is the co-founder and Executive Vice President of Sage Products in Cary. His current community involvement includes board positions with The Center of Autism, Cornerstone Bank, The School of Business at Northern Illinois University and Leadership Greater McHenry County. Mr. Hills resides in Barrington.
Patrick Morehead is being nominated to serve his first three-year term on the Board of Governors. He was appointed to the Centegra Foundation Board of Directors in 1997 and served as its Chairman. He is the owner of KRW Insurance. Mr. Morehead’s current involvement includes President of the St. Thomas School Commission, member of the Crystal Lake Ambassadors, member of the Board of Directors for Home State Bank, and a member of the West Bend Mutual Insurance Company Agents’ Advisory Board. He is also past Chairman of the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce Board. Mr. Morehead resides in Crystal Lake.
Parmod Narang, MD, has served on the Centegra Board of Governors since September 2005. He is being nominated to serve his first three-year term on the Board of Governors. Dr. Narang is an Internal Medicine physician, with his office located in McHenry. He is a long-standing Active Staff member at Centegra Northern Illinois Medical Center and Centegra Memorial Medical Center. He was a member of the Northern Illinois Medical Center Medical Executive Committee from 2001 through 2005. He was President of the Northern Illinois Medical Center Medical Staff from 1989 through 1991 and then again from 2001 through 2002. He is a member of the Board Quality and Service Committee, Planning Committee, Northern Illinois Medical Center Bylaws and Nominating Committees. Dr. Narang resides in Crystal Lake.
Katherine Powell is being nominated to serve her first three-year term on the Board of Governors. She has been a member of the Centegra Foundation Board of Directors since 2000 and served as Chairman from 2003 to 2005. Ms. Powell is Vice President/Program Manager of the Investment Center at Home State Bank. Ms. Powell has been involved with the community serving as Chamber Ambassador President, Board Member for the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce, and Fund Allocation Panel Member of United Way of McHenry County. She has also held board positions with Junior Achievement, Crystal Lake Area Crimestoppers and the America’s Cardboard Cup Regatta. She resides in Crystal Lake.
Charie Zanck is being nominated to serve her first three-year term on the Board of Governors. Ms. Zanck previously served as Chairman of the Memorial Medical Center Board. She is currently Chief Executive Officer of American Community Bank & Trust. Her current community involvement includes being a member of the Board of Directors of the McHenry County Economic Development Corporation, Director of Friends of the McHenry County College Foundation, Chairman of the Board for Challenger Learning Center for Science and Technology, Vice President of Leadership Greater McHenry County, and Co-Chair, Centegra Auxiliary of Memorial Medical Center Mad Hatters Luncheon. Ms. Zanck resides in Woodstock.
