There are exercises for all fitness levels that you can do in your home to stay fit this winter.Do push-ups leaning against the wall or on the floor. Use a chair to do tricep dips, or curl canned food or bottles of water to strengthen your biceps.Exercise your lower body by doing lunges. Step forward into a lunge, making sure your front knee does not go past your toes. Bring your feet together and repeat with the other leg. If you are stronger, travel as you do lunges. As you perform crunches to develop your abdominal muscles, prevent neck strain by pretending you’re holding a softball between your chin and your chest. To see a video of me performing these and other exercises, go to Centegra.org.
