Centegra Health System began offering H1N1 vaccinations to the general public in mid-December 2009 at Centegra Immediate Care Centers. Dr. Ted Lorenc, vice president of medical affairs, explains how the current local supply of the vaccine became great enough to provide the immunization to anyone who wants one in the general public, as long as supplies allow. The Centegra Immediate Care Centers in Crystal Lake and Huntley are also open to evaluate and treat the flu. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and holidays.
