Centegra Health System is proud to celebrate the new Centegra Breastfeeding Resource Center at Centegra Hospital – Woodstock at an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 13.This new outpatient addition to the Family Birth Center offers mothers assistance if needed to provide the ideal source of complete nutrition for their baby. Other benefits of breastfeeding include faster weight loss for moms and a decreased risk of certain cancers, and babies have fewer ear and respiratory infections and are less likely to become obese.Women who visit the Centegra Breastfeeding Resource Center can receive one-to-one consultations with our board-certified lactation consultant nurses.In addition to clinical support by phone or office visit we also sell and lease Medela breastfeeding supplies and also provide private fittings for the nursing bras.
