Back pain is a common problem that is often caused by muscle weakness. To avoid back pain, add exercises to your workout that condition your back.To perform an abdominal curl, lie in a sit-up position and slowly raise your shoulders off the floor. Hold this position for five seconds and then slowly go back down. While on your back, stretch by bringing one knee up to your chest and hold it with both hands for 10 seconds. Switch legs and repeat. While standing with your feet apart, bring your head toward the floor, reaching for the ground or your lower legs. You can also stand and lean your upper body back from the waist while you try to look at the ceiling.Strengthen your back and prevent future injuries.
