Memories to Last a Lifetime
The caring Associates in our Family Birth Centers provide personalized care to both you and your baby. We take pride in the way we support you and anticipate your needs so you can make memories that will last a lifetime.
Our nurses are some of the best in the nation when it comes to patient satisfaction. During your stay, the same nurses take care of both you and your baby so they know your individual needs and provide you consistent care.
Rooming In
At Centegra's Family Birth Centers, we encourage mothers to keep their babies in their rooms. Rooming in supports bonding between mother and baby during those precious first days of life. It also allows new parents to participate in and learn about their new baby's care. If you are tired and would like your baby to spend time in our nursery, we watch your little one so you can rest.
Because we celebrate the birth of your baby as a family event, fathers or a support person are welcome to stay overnight with you and your baby. We are committed to exceeding your expectations, and we encourage you to share other ways that we can help you and your family.
Cesarean Sections
Scheduled C-sections
Patients with scheduled C-sections also enjoy the operating room's proximity to the Family Birth Center recovery room.
Unscheduled C-sections
If your C-section is unexpected, each of our hospitals has an operating room within the Family Birth Center so your physician can quickly and safely deliver your baby.
Our Accommodations

"Nap Time" is observed daily from 2 to 4 pm. During this time, rest and bonding for the mother and baby is encouraged.
-
Before anyone holds your baby, a thorough hand washing is required.
- Please have visitors postpone their visit to the hospital if they are not feeling well.
