Become a Centegra Therapist

Are you interested in becoming a Centegra Therapist?

Here are just a few of the highlights of becoming a Centegra Therapist, no matter what your specialty.

A full continuum of care that offers longevity
Whether you're seeking an acute, inpatient rehab, sub acute rehab/skilled nursing, home health, comprehensive outpatient neuro-rehabilitation program or (comprehensive) outpatient setting- we have it! When clinical Associates are ready to try something new, we encourage lateral transitions within our system to new practice areas.

Strong culture
Year after year, our clinical Associates rate our culture as the primary reason for working at Centegra. We live and breathe the values of genuine respect, joyful spirit and passionate caring to our patients and amongst ourselves creating an environment you will "choose" to come to. People make the difference!

True interdisciplinary approach
Both within and between the facilities where clinical Associates work. Imagine a health care system where physical, occupational and speech therapists actually work with each other and their ancillary counterparts and you'll find yourself at Centegra!

Vision
Created amongst our Associates and facilitated by our leaders, we're ensuring rehabilitation is part of the solution to the challenges that come. This includes integrating rehabilitation into multiple service lines to better meet our patients needs in cardiac, oncology, orthopedics and women's health to state of the art facilities where growth is anticipated such as our Health Bridge Sports and Medicine clinic in Huntley.

Flexible scheduling
This is evident by a high prevalence of varied work schedules and growing split positions between treatment areas and locations. Many of our clinical Associates start out with one schedule and evolve to another in quest to sustain work/life balance. Recognizing this inevitable part of our profession, we work with the Associates as this happens to find a win-win for them as well as our patients.

Sign-on bonus and new graduate tuition payback
You might be eligible for a bonus, tuition payback or a combination of both! Offerings and amounts vary dependent upon staffing needs and discipline. Further information can be obtained during the recruitment process.

Continuing education
We budget per associate every year for this. In addition, we are a licensed continuing education provider and host quarterly seminars to maximize these monies. Past year events include Kinesiotaping; Spine and Back Injuries; Stiff Shoulder Rehabilitation; Visual and Perceptual Deficits in the Adult with Neurological Impairments; Driving Evaluations for the Neurologically Impaired; Evidenced-Based Wound Care into the 21st Century; and The Musculoskeletal System: A Case-Based Approached to Managing Common Orthopaedic Problems in Children and Adults.

Specialty certification
We budget for provider certification based upon the needs of our patients and growing needs of Centegra's service lines. Examples include Wound Care Certification (WCC) and Certification in Lymphedema.

Student program
We currently coordinate with 12 universities to provide level 1 and 2 fieldwork opportunities, which not only gives back to our professions but provides mutual personal growth as well as continuing education credits for the clinical Associate who loves the challenge. If you are a student interested in employment, rest assured that we have a strong mentorship program with various experienced clinical Associates to meet your needs. For students interested in doing fieldwork at Centegra, please contact our coordinator, Barb Wasilk at (815) 356.2700.

Local setting with not-so-distant city benefits
