Centegra Visitation and Hours
At Centegra, we understand how very important visiting times are to our patients and the people who love and care for them. We encourage family and friends to visit, and ask only that you observe the following guidelines:
- Limit your stay to 15 to 20 minutes: Remember that patients need time for rest, treatment and privacy.
- Only two visitors at the bedside at a time.
- Avoid loud behavior: Please be considerate of other patients.
- Approve all food and/or beverage gifts with a patient's nurse first: Many patients have dietary restrictions that go along with their care so it is always best to check with the nurse first before giving any outside food or beverages.
- Never take food from a patient's tray: It is important for a nurse to know exactly how much a patient has consumed.
- Do not use the patient's bathroom facilities.
- Do not sit on the patient's bed or any unoccupied bed.
- Observe all visiting restrictions requested by the patient, family and staff.
- Please do not visit patients if you are not feeling well or if you may be contagious.
Also, children under 12 are generally not permitted in patient care areas. Ask the nurse as some exceptions may apply. If you have any other questions about our Visiting Guidelines,
