Breastfeeding Warmline
The Breastfeeding Warmline is a free telephone support line offered through the Centegra Family Birth Center at Centegra Hospital – McHenry. Moms can call with questions about breastfeeding topics from before the births of their babies through the time of weaning.The Breastfeeding Warmline is available to all breastfeeding moms, regardless of where you delivered your baby. During the week, moms can leave a message for the lactation consultant and a return call will be given the same day as the original message.

Breastfeeding Support Group
Studies have shown that group support for breastfeeding mothers has the greatest influence on breastfeeding success. Centegra’s Family Birth Centers offer free Breastfeeding Support Groups to help provide a friendly, supportive environment for moms and their babies to discuss the joys and challenges of breastfeeding with other moms. The group is staffed by Centegra’s Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultants and includes an infant weight check. Call the Family Birth Center for more information.
