Centegra offers a number of specialized programs including the Heart Failure Center, which offers support and continuing education in tandem with a physician treatment plan
for those with chronic conditions who can achieve an active, satisfying life.
Centegra Hospital-McHenry received the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for its heart failure program.
At the Centegra Heart Failure Center, nurses work to improve the patient’s quality of life by managing the symptoms of heart failure. Patients are educated about the disease and the ways it can be controlled. The Center’s primary objectives are to reduce the number of unnecessary visits to the emergency room, to prevent hospitalizations and to help patients live a productive life.
