Centegra’s joint replacement pre-surgical education class ”A Joint Step Forward” is highly recommended to our patients to best prepare them for total joint surgery and rehabilitation to ensure maximum success. It is an informational, 90-minute program taught by nurses and therapists who provide care, direction and support throughout the entire healing process. This class is an excellent opportunity to learn in-depth about what to expect, review joint replacement educational materials, receive on the spot answers to questions and meet a few of our experts so you recognize a friendly face once your surgery is complete.

“A Joint Step Forward” occurs once a week at either Centegra Hospital-McHenry or Centegra Hospital-Woodstock. Classes are in the Conference Rooms on the first floor near the east entrance of the facility. A pre-surgical testing nurse will call you to schedule your upcoming class.
