At Centegra Hospital – McHenry, our radiologists use the GE Discovery V CT 64-Slice PET/CT to scan people with cancer and heart disease. The scanner is also used for angiography testing.
Crystal Lake Imaging Center
The Centegra Crystal Lake Imaging Center is the only place in McHenry County where you can get a Breast MRI to diagnose and treat Breast Cancer. This advanced, innovative procedure is performed in the Siemens Espree 1.5 Tesla. In addition to performing Breast MRIs, this MRI machine is wider than normal MRIs, which allows us to scan a diverse population.
Centegra Health Center – Huntley
Centegra Health Center – Huntley has two advanced pieces of equipment that provide treatment to people in McHenry County:
- The Siemens Verio 3.0 Tesla is an MRI machine used for orthopaedic and neurological patients. This wide machine allows us to test a diverse population.
- The Somatom Definition ASPlus 128 Slice CT Scanner is among the newest in the medical field and is used for angiography and cardiac testing.
Centegra Crystal Lake Medical Arts
The Centegra Crystal Lake Medical Arts building also has two advanced pieces of equipment that help us provide the best care to the people of McHenry County:
- The Siemens Sensation 64-Slice CT Scanner is used for coronary and body angiography applications.
- The GE Signa 1.5 Tesla is used for general MRI exams of the body, orthopaedic scans and neurological applications.
