Centegra Health System offers a unique benefit for all members of  Cardiac Rehabilitation,  Pulmonary Rehabilitation and the  Heart Failure Clinic. A registered dietitian is available to help our patients learn more about healthy eating and portion control. Nutrition-focused group classes are also offered once a quarter.

Cardiac nutrition classes teach:

  • What foods to consume while following a heart-healthy diet
  • What cholesterol is and what each lipid value means
  • The difference between saturated, trans and unsaturated fats
  • How to modify recipes to make them healthy
  • How to avoid foods that contain high amounts of sodium
  • How to eat healthy while dining out
  • Any other nutrition-related information, as deemed appropriate

Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center

Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center provides equipment, professional staff and medically-integrated classes to keep your mind, body and heart healthy. With locations in Crystal Lake and Huntley, Health Bridge gives members access to cardio equipment, weights, indoor and outdoor pools, indoor tracks and fitness classes.
