The Centegra Hospital-Woodstock Auxiliary will host a book fair to raise money for the Centegra Gavers Breast Center located in Crystal Lake. The book fair will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 13 and Thursday, March 14 in the lower level lobby at Centegra Hospital-Woodstock, 3701 Doty Road. The book fair will also be offered 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 15 in the atrium at Centegra Specialty Hospital-Woodstock, 527 West South Street.
“We have hosted this fundraising opportunity for many years and it has always been very successful,” said Auxiliary President Sally Welter. “It is one of our best moneymakers.”
“The fair will have books and gifts for all ages and best sellers at a reduced priced,” said Welter. “To make it easy for our customers, we accept cash, check, credit and debit. We even offer payroll deduction for Centegra associates.”
The Centegra Hospital-Woodstock Auxiliary, established in 1946, is comprised of volunteers who organize fundraising activities, manage resale and gift shops and provide creative support for Centegra programs. Their efforts and good will have furnished major spaces, bought surgical and emergency equipment and refurbished several critical care areas.
