Q: What is the best way to apply for a position with Centegra Health System?
A: Applying directly to a position posted in the CareersatCentegra opportunities section is the best way to apply. 

Q: How often are job postings updated?
A: Centegra Health System updates job postings in real time. Check out the Job Posting Notification option in your online application to be notified of any new positions matching your application information. 

Q: If I don’t have a resume can I still apply for a position?
A: Yes. You can complete an online application listing your skills and job experience. It is important to be thorough and accurate when entering this information because the Employment Team identifies your job fit based on the knowledge, skills, abilities and talents in your online application. 

Q: There are no current job opportunities matching my skills or interests. Can I be considered for a future position?
A: When you fill out the online application your information is stored in our database. If you have selected the Job Posting Notification option you will be notified via email of any new career opportunities available matching your profile preferences. We strongly encourage you to be proactive in your job search by continuing to check the Centegra Health System website for new opportunities. 

Q: I forgot my password and/or username. What should I do?
A: On the CareersatCentegra log in page select forgot your password or forgot your username option(s). You will receive an email with instruction on resetting your password and/or username. 

Q: My account is locked, what should I do?
A: You are allowed 5 incorrect sign-in attempts before your account will be locked. Your account will be locked for only 5 minutes. After 5 minutes has passed use the “forgot your password”  option. An emailed containing a generic password and prompts to create a new password for accessing your account will be sent. 

Q: What should I do if I receive an application error during submission?
A: Many issues can be resolved by simply exiting the application and opening a new session. 

Q: I received an error when attaching my resume. What should I do?
A: Review the size and type of document you are trying to attach. The application states all acceptable formats. The size limitation is 100 kilobytes. 

Q: When will I hear from someone after I apply?
A: Immediately after you apply you will receive our “application acknowledgement”  email and your application is placed for review of our Employment Team. Our Employment Team takes time to review all of our applications. You can check the status of your application online 24/7. 

Q: I did not receive an email acknowledging my application.
A: All email correspondence will be sent to the email address entered in your online application. Please review to ensure a valid email address is entered. The email generates from our system and could be filtered as “junk”  mail. Review your junk mailbox if you have not received correspondence in your inbox. 

Q: How can I check the status of my application?
A: You can view the status of your application 24/7simply by logging into your online application and viewing your “job submissions” . If you are selected for an interview a representative of our Employment Team will contact you directly either by telephone or email. 

Q: Can I delete my application?
A: Online applications are considered legal documents and cannot be deleted however you can withdrawal an application. 

Q: How do I withdraw my application from a position?
A: Log into your online application and select “view job submissions”  and then select the option withdraw. 

Q: I see Hours per Pay Period on the job postings. What does this mean?
A: Centegra Health System is on a bi-weekly pay cycle, the hours listed are for a two week period.

  • Full time status is considered 72 to 80 hours per pay period Part time status is considered 40 to 71 hours per pay period
  • Part time status no benefits is considered 8 to 39 hours per pay period
  • Registry status is listed at 0 hours.
  • The scheduling varies by department and there are no benefits or guarantee of hours for this status.
  • Any position with 40 hours per pay period or more is considered benefits eligible.
