The Centegra Hospital-Woodstock Auxiliary encourages women of all ages to wear a hat for women’s health in McHenry County during the 10th annual Mad Hatters Luncheon Wednesday, May 9. Tickets are still available.The event begins with a silent auction preview at 10 a.m. at the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn. Lunch will be served at noon, followed by a live auction. Proceeds will benefit the Centegra Gavers Breast Center.”Centegra Health System depends on the community’s support to sustain quality healthcare for our friends and families,” said Sally Welter, auxiliary president. “Taking an afternoon away from day-to-day stresses and attending this popular women’s event will help model the way toward a healthier McHenry County. Our luncheon has become a wonderful spring tradition for many local women. It is a unique event that is entertaining and fun but with a definite purpose to ensure the women in our community have access to the highest quality healthcare right here in our own community,” she added.Tickets are $50 each or $500 for a table of 10 and may be purchased in person or by mail.
