David L. Tomlinson is the executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief information officer of Centegra Health System. He provides overall leadership and strategy for Centegra’s finance and information technology divisions. Since joining Centegra in June 2006, he has served in the capacities of administrative fellow, director of operations support, vice president of clinical ancillary services and vice president of operations. Prior to joining Centegra, he was part of the management team at Barnes Jewish West County Hospital, part of the BJC Healthcare system in St. Louis.
He earned a Bachelor of General Studies, Management from Brigham Young University and his MBA and MHA from St. Louis University. He is board certified in health care management and is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is a member of the board of directors for the Algonquin Road Surgery Center and CASA McHenry County. He is a graduate of Leadership Greater McHenry County and a volunteer leader within the Boy Scouts of America organization.
